eRSA is looking to expand our research engagement activities and are looking for two candidates to complete our research liaison team.

The perfect candidates for this role will enjoy making new connections, building networks and can work collaboratively to understand needs and demonstrate value.

We’re looking for applicants who are versatile, passionate and curious and can work well with researchers to better understand their technology needs.

Working within one of the targeted research domain areas you will be responsible for business analysis and business development activities by identifying potential new clients and providing support and advice. You will look to build communities of practice around standards, tools, best practice and national exemplars within their target domain area. You will also work closely with our Solutions Team to deliver a seamless customer experience in the provision of support and services.

This role would suit candidates with research experience who are looking to enter a new phase of their career, research librarians, business analysts, those with experience in marketing and sales, business development activities, events and training.

The Research Engagement Specialists will work closely with the SA Universities and SA research institutes to complement their eResearch capability. The primary responsibilities of the Research Engagement Specialists are to provide advice to researchers on effective eResearch solutions for their circumstances, gather requirements from the research community, help guide the development and deployment of relevant eResearch services, and increase the visibility and acceptance of eResearch best practice. The Research Engagement Specialists also maintains a close relationship with institutional eResearch support staff.

This role may also include designing, developing and delivering training programs, developing and implementing documentation about eRSA’s services and providing on-going client support.
